How were the Japanese farmers and peasants in rural areas covered by the Japanese government during the Second World War?
They respected or have been rejected by the government?
Farmers were well respected, but not give any material aid. Government Japan's military took power in a campaign that lasts for many years through the 1920s to the 1930 mid-term. Their main weapon of propaganda was the idea that modern, Western-looking Japanese enemy of the people. This meant to support living in poverty while the government spent the nation's wealth as a whole in the army and navy. The children of farmers were murdered en masse.
